WHAT IS LENTICULAR?
Lenticular printing is a contemporary way to give your advertising that little bit extra and attract the attention of your customers. Professionally created 3D nodders & co. give your advertising a magical appeal and open up completely new perspectives for the creative use of images.
Depending on the viewing angle, static images can be moved and even short video sequences can be displayed. Lenticular prints thus enable a lively, attention-grabbing customer approach. Our high-quality lenticular printing shows sharply separated images even with complex animations. You can breathe life into your advertising material and attract attention with various effects. Combine your lenticular printing with other advertising media at your point of sale to implement a comprehensive marketing strategy.
The term lenticular describes an optical effect that makes it possible to present images in an eye-catching and inspiring way. Several motifs can be combined on one print medium. There are five effects available: the flip effect (colloquially known as a wobble image), which offers the possibility of displaying two or more motifs, depending on the viewing angle. With the 3D effect, objects become as if they were within reach and the zoom effect lets the motif fly towards you. A particularly strong effect is offered by the Morphing effect, in which the motifs are prepared in such a way that they merge seamlessly into each other. Animation creates new possibilities by reproducing complex motion sequences or even small film sequences as a kind of printed video. All effects create amazing possibilities that put products or services in an extraordinary light and are guaranteed to attract attention.
You can also use the effects at the point of sale to stand out from the flood of information and catch the eye by using 3D or flip effects for your city light poster and other large-format advertising.
HOW IS THE LENTICULAR EFFECT CREATED?
In order to make the effects visible, a special foil is needed, which is equipped with numerous lenses. These lenses determine the desired effect depending on the direction (horizontal or vertical). In order to bring the motif together with the foil in an exact fit, the image material must be prepared accordingly and printing skills are required. If the lenticular foil is combined with the image data in the print, the selected effect is created and, depending on the viewing angle, the different motifs appear.
In contrast to conventionally printed images, tiny prisms create the special effects. In this way, movement is added to the otherwise motionless advertising material.
WHAT LENTICULAR EFFECTS ARE THERE?
A popular stylistic device: You can use a changing picture to show impressive before and after effects or, for example, to turn a sad face into a happy face. The possibilities for using these optical highlights for your own advertising purposes are almost endless.
Large-format interchangeable images in digital printing also inspire your customers at the point of sale, at trade fairs or in your salesrooms.
Other applications include postcards, posters, billboards, business cards, book covers, magazine covers, bookmarks, catalogs or brochures.
This technology enables displays, inserts or response boosters in mailings to achieve a phenomenal optical 3D effect.
A combination of 3D and flip effect is also possible and makes the viewer even more amazed! Hardly any other print method comes so close to reality. With this technology you will inspire customers of all ages for your offer.
Product changes or your individual film sequence can also be implemented in this way.
